BECOME A CATALYST

The Rad Lab awards molecular grants to neurodiverse individuals each year who demonstrate leadership and inspire others through their actions.
This year, we will award grants of $250 to individuals, ages 18+,
who are taking important steps to live more independently.

AWARDING GRANT MONEY
Winners will be announced June 1, 2022 for 10 applicants from California and 10 applicants from Pennsylvania.
IF AWARDED GRANT MONEY:
Each catalyst will be asked to post on social media and tag
The Rad Lab and share a photo of how this award helped them become more independent.

Prepare
Be ready to answer the following:

Why do you want to become a catalyst?
What attributes do you have that make you a "radical collaborator?" -
If you were awarded $250, briefly explain how you would spend it to inspire a positive change for yourself or other neurodiverse individuals?
You will be asked to share:

APPLY TO BECOME A CATALYST
Nominate yourself or another neurodiverse individual, age 18+, residing in California or Pennsylvania.
Applications will be accepted between January 1, 2022 and March 15, 2022.
Examples of Catalysts include:
-
Moving out of their parent(s)/family home
and into a more independent setting
-
Taking steps to be more independent when needing transportation
(i.e, learning to drive, learning to use public transportation, learning to use riding apps)
-
Enrolling in a vocational school, college,
or program to further career goals
-
Initiating social plans independently
-
Registering to vote, and voting
-
Earning their first paycheck
-
Opening a bank account
